Keep on praying for Burma for the gospel will be reached to the rich and poor over there.
Celebration is important in the life of all believers individually and as a whole church. The good Lord has blessed us with uncountable blessings and we are glad in Him. On the last Sunday of February 2010 we will celebrate our church 18th birthday. As we look back we thank the guidance of the Holy Spirit to BCC ministries such as children ministry, women and men ministries, youth and young adults’ ministries and out reaches to near by towns Wollongong and Canberra. We praise God for witnessing people come to the Lord in the past 18 years mostly from the Buddhist background it is also exciting to see the opening of our church English service on the last Sunday of May 2009 and it is now continuing every Sundays at 4:00 pm. I personally want to thank all the seven deacons who take responsibilities for different needs of our church Uncle Daniel (Administration), U Tin Maung Lwin (Mission), U Naw Tawng (Doctrines), U Chit Maung (Social), U David Wong (Care ministry), Daw Esther (Sunday School), Daw Nan Mai Phoo (Prayer) all of them are faithfully serving the Lord as a team. All EC members work hard to accomplish their assigned tasks with God’s help and we praise God for their commitment.
As we look around we can see lots of opportunities to serve the Lord at BCC and participate in church activities, such as fund raising events, out reach programs, worship services, church maintenance and cleaning, catering and the greatest of all is to be part of purchasing the church building this year. BCC needs your prayers, ideas, help and contribution in all areas and please be part of the ministries.
As wee look ahead it is very important to trust in the lord and have hope in His promises, His provision and His purpose to become a church that worship Him well, evangelize well, learn well of His words , love the lord and love people well and to serve Him well. God is good and let us celebrate His blessings together this month. Let us look back and give thanks, let us look around and count our blessings and let us look forward to see our Lord return and be prepared as His bride. God bless you all.
In Christ
