Pastor Letter for July 2010

Hi Everyone Greetings in Jesus name,

I hope you are coping well with freezing weather in Sydney but wherever you are the warmth of Christ love is present if you believe in it. God is good we have passed six month of 2010 and now right in the middle of the year. Praise God for His faithfulness, loving kindness and blessings in our lives.

Celebrate Jesus 2010 is just around the corner which will be held on July 10th at Yagoona Baptist Church this year at 5:00 pm don’t miss it there will be lots of excitement and for sure we will have a great time of combine praise and worship with Saya Saw Gweh too and Saya Kennedy. This year Saya Saw Ler Htoo will be our guest speaker and Saya Victor Moe also will be part of leading worship. We are very grateful to yagoona Baptist Church for accommodating us. Pastor True Chain and family will be with us in this celebration before going home to Melbourne on that day, they will be attending Hill Song Conference 2010.

We have many reasons to celebrate Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. For from him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. We thank Jesus for demonstrating His healing hands upon many of our members and friends His presence and love is so real therefore we can celebrate individually and as the whole body of believers. I want to thank church family members for faithfully worshipping the lord with humble attitudes towards Him. It is so exciting to witness our church children performing the prodigal Son story on the last Sunday of June. When we celebrate Jesus there more and more new blessings are on the way. As we look back for the past two years in our celebration we all experienced God’s presence, God’s power and God’s provisions in our lives. Let us all focus on Jesus as we celebrate His plans for each one of us and encourage other people to be part of our celebrations because we belong to Him and He belongs to us. Let us all warm up by His presence and thank the Lord for the cold weather. Have a Blessed July and God bless you and yours in your day to day celebration of God’s wonderful grace in life.

Reflection of Year 2009

Prayer points

  • Thank God for Jun 2010 for God’s faithfulness and blessings especially BCC children’s day on the last Sunday.
  • Thank God for warm fellowship with brothers and sisters in Wollongong and our continuing plans to be one in Christ.
  • Thank God for Ko Tun Tun’s successful lungs operations and speedy recovery.
  • Thank God for the first batch of Discipleship Training successful program 2009-2010.
  • Pray for Celebrate Jesus 2010 on July 10th Saturday 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Yagoona Baptist Church.
  • Pray for our negotiation with Granville Community Baptist Church to purchase church building from them.
  • Pray for your unsaved friends.
  • Pray for Saesoon church planning to develop Multicultural Christian ministries connection in Sydney and the retreat which will be held on July 24 Saturday with guest speaker John North.
  • Pray for internally displaced people and refugees in Burma and around the world.
  • Pray for our new Prime Minister Juliann Gillard to have faith in Jesus.
  • Pray for our church Children, youth and young adults, women and men ministries.
  • Pray for Pastor Shane and Pastor Htura families and all the EC and deacons families and also don’t forget to pray for your secret prayer person for 2010.
  • Pray for BCC AM and PM services so that people will be blessed by God’s presence.
  • Pray for friends from interstates and overseas coming to Hill song conference this month.
  • Pray for BCC 2009-2010 nomination committee in their nomination.
