Pastor Letter for May 2012
Dear Members and Friends,
God is good all the time; He is truly risen from the dead. The love of God the light of God and the blessings of God is to be praised at all times. April was a very busy month for BCC during which we could reach to WA, ACT, Qld fellowships. Saya David Lah and team went home and arrived back to their mother churches safe and sound thanks to them for their commitment and love for the Lord.
Our worship team was really blessed and they could bless the camp and everyone came back to Sydney with lots of Joy. Our God is the awesome God who shows us love and mercies and care through our mothers and this month I would like to thank all the mothers at BCC and to all those who has mothers should be thankful and be proud for their mothers.
We all enter into this world through our Mums and that's including our Lord Jesus Christ. God uses mothers to show His agape love. The love that selfless, the love that sacrifice, the love that brings life and light to the world. Mothers are to be honoured not only on Mother's day but every day and that is God's commandment in Exodus 20:12.
We should honour all the mothers because they are mothers. We should honour all the godly mothers because of their noble character.
Godly Mothers are makers of home and family. ( Proverbs 31:10-31) We should praise them.
Godly Mothers are obedient and submissive to the call of God (1 Samuel 1:21-28)
Godly Mothers are teachers of the word of God (Proverbs 22:6) we should follow them.
Godly Mothers are humbled before God (Matthew 15:21-28 , Luke 1:30-38) we should imitate their faith.
Godly Mothers are enthusiastic to serve God and others ( Luke 1:46-56, John 2:2-5) we should copy their example.
Godly mothers take responsibility and care others (2 Kings 4:1-37) We should respect them.
May the good Lord bless all the mothers on earth to spread the love of God through them. May all the mothers follow godliness to celebrate this Mothers' day. Thank you lord for giving us Mothers. Amen.
In Christ,
Pastor Shane Khin (Burmese Christian Church Sydney)
